Understanding Architecture

Overview

NATA and JEE Main Paper 2 are two primary entrance exams for aspiring architects, in addition to CEPT.
At SAJC, students can opt for NATA preparation along with MPC through the Integrated Program.
Architects are responsible for planning and designing buildings and structures. As a result, a certain level of mental inclination and orientation is required for a career in architecture. Most undergraduate Architecture programs in India require students to have a Mathematics background at the +2 level. It is typically a 5-year program, commonly referred to as B.Arch (Bachelors in Architecture). Preparation for All India Entrance Exams can begin soon after 10th grade. Upon completing their degree or during their studies, candidates can undertake an internship with practicing architects or an architecture firm to gain practical experience and better job prospects.

Career Opportunities after Architecture

Architecture involves designing and constructing buildings while blending form and function. Architects require a mix of artistic skills and scientific knowledge to create structures that are both functional and beautiful. A career in architecture requires an appreciation for the surrounding urban context and an understanding of architecture’s influence on society’s history.
